Dyson V15 Broken Wheel & Disintegrating Parts After 8 Months

My Dyson V15 vacuum, which I got directly from Dyson's website, has a broken wheel. Without any hookups or drops, it most likely became tangled with something, causing the screw socket to shatter. It has just been 8 months since I purchased the product. Additionally, the plastic pieces around the vacuum's cyclones have begun to disintegrate. Every day, they shred and fall off more; even the emptying bin has become impossible to shut. I emailed Dyson about the matter, but as of today, I have not received a response. It's extremely depressing to watch an 8-month-old item wear down so rapidly. As a reputable brand, I expect Dyson to provide an immediate response.
