The head of our Dyson corded vacuum broke, and because it has been 5 years and 2 months, the guarantee does not cover it. I was told that I would have to pay for the part. I purchased the item in a video conference with Dyson staff, transferred ₺2500, and placed the order. However, the item did not fit the hose. When we contacted again, we were told we required an adaptor, but it was out of stock and we should check the internet. After more than two months of waiting, the part remained unavailable. I wrote multiple emails, and last week, the part became available, so I placed an order. Once again, the received part did not fit. I've contacted customer support several times, and after waiting for 25 minutes today, I finally got through and spent 40 minutes discussing my problem with them. This time, they stated that there would be no return because I had received the part more than three months ago. I was astonished and frustrated by their faults in providing the incorrect part, the lack of the additional part they mentioned, and the continuous lack of compatibility even when it became available. It's unacceptable for a brand like Dyson. Despite paying more for Dyson vacuums than others, having service solely in Istanbul and waiting at least 30-40 minutes to reach customer support is not a pleasant experience. It appears that we need to select a brand with a superior service network. I desperately seek a resolution to my anguish.
