Dyson V15 Not Repaired After Paid Service – Customer Complaint

After the warranty period expired for my Dyson V15 vacuum cleaner, the trigger stopped working and the device became unusable for cleaning. I sent the product in for service on March 12, 2025. After inspection, I was asked to pay a repair fee of approximately $206 USD, which I paid in full by credit card on March 12, 2026.

Despite making this payment, the product was returned to me about two weeks later, but the trigger issue had not been fixed and the vacuum had not been repaired at all. Even though my service record exists in their system under reference number 44050185, I am currently unable to get any response from Dyson’s customer service regarding this issue.

I am experiencing significant inconvenience because I paid a high repair fee but received my product back unrepaired, and I have not received any follow-up communication. Under these circumstances, I do not want the product repaired anymore. Instead, I request that Dyson resolve this issue by replacing my Dyson V15 vacuum with a new unit. I also request a detailed written explanation of this process if necessary.
