Dyson V15 Head Not Spinning After Motor Replacement

About 35 days ago, I started experiencing a trigger issue with my Dyson V15 vacuum. I contacted Dyson customer service, and they sent me a brand-new motor replacement. However, due to illness and a funeral, I was out of town at the time and was unable to install the motor and test the product.
The replacement motor was delivered to me approximately 34 days ago. Today, after installing the motor and placing the filter, I encountered a new issue—this time with the cleaner head. The vacuum head does not rotate, and as a result, I cannot use the product at all. I immediately contacted customer service and even completed a video call to demonstrate the issue. However, I was told that because more than 30 days had passed, only a paid service repair could be offered.
Although the product warranty has expired, I believe I have been treated unfairly, as this issue occurred immediately after installing the new motor that Dyson sent me. I am currently unable to use my vacuum in any way. Since I purchased this product directly through Dyson.com, I am requesting a free repair for the cleaner head issue or that a new unit or appropriate replacement part be sent to me.
I respectfully ask that my situation be taken into consideration and that a fair solution be provided.
