Dyson Humidify Cool Air Purifier Arrived Defective Still Noisy After Fix

I purchased the Dyson Purifier Humidify Cool Formaldehyde Air Purifier, only to find that the pump motor was defective and excessively noisy. When I reached out to Dyson support, they insisted I be physically near the device for a video call, making it almost impossible to handle unless you take it to your workplace or arrange time off. Even taking it to a service center requires first calling them. This setup feels designed to discourage service requests. Fortunately, I was at home and could show the issue via video, only for the representative to say, "I can’t really hear the sound, but I’ve opened a service request." The video call was unnecessary and simply added an extra step. After finally taking the device in, they confirmed within 15 minutes that the pump motor was indeed faulty and replaced it. However, once I got it back home, the noise persisted. Now, I’m preparing to go through the process yet again and plan to involve the Consumer Arbitration Board, as this defective product sale is unacceptable. I will keep updating this post with any new developments.
