I purchased a Dyson HP1 air purifier in Türkiye and started experiencing a serious issue with the device in less than 14 days. When I set a target temperature, for example 21°C, the device heats until it reaches that value, then correctly switches to cooling mode and slows down. This part works as expected. However, about 2–3 minutes later, sometimes after 5 minutes, the display turns off by itself, and in this state the device cannot be accessed or controlled through the mobile application at all. To make it work again, I have to turn it on with the remote control, wait for it to switch to cooling mode, and then increase the target temperature, only then it starts operating again. If I only press the power button, the display turns on and shuts off again within about 2 seconds, and the problem continues in the same way. Even though I clearly demonstrated this malfunction to the service team via a video call and showed the issue live on the device, when the product is sent to the service center I receive an email stating that no problem was found, and the device is returned to me in the same condition. My Dyson reference number is 42133291. Despite this reference and the video proof, I am still told that there is no problem. I request a clear and detailed technical explanation as to why this behavior is considered “no fault found,” and I want the real cause of the issue to be identified. If this is a software or hardware problem, I expect it to be properly fixed or, if necessary, the device to be replaced with a properly functioning one so that I can use the product I purchased without interruption.
