Discord Sent Me an Unsolicited Verification Code Even Though I Have No Account

Last night, I received a one-time SMS verification code from Discord, even though I have never used Discord and do not have an account with them. This message came completely unexpectedly and without my consent.

After receiving the code, I immediately blocked the number, but I am concerned about why my phone number is being used in Discord’s systems when I have no connection with the platform. My phone number is registered with Türk Telekom, and I reside in Zonguldak, Turkey.

I do not want to receive such messages again. I request that my phone number be completely removed from Discord’s system so it cannot be mistakenly or fraudulently used in the future.

I expect Discord to ensure that no further SMS messages are sent to my number and to confirm that my personal data is not stored or misused in any way. Customers who are not registered with the service should not be receiving verification codes, as it causes both confusion and concern.
