Discord Ignored Repeated Reports of Alleged CSAM Server

July 5 1:15 PM1

Since 2 July 2026, my friends and I have been repeatedly using Discord’s reporting tools to report a particular server that is harboring CSAM material, encouraged and facilitated by one of the server’s moderators. The server in question has the ID 916377276881457172. Despite our extensive efforts and the seriousness of this content, no visible action has been taken against either the offending account or the server. The main offending account we have reported has the ID 1521963510643425341. We are based in the Middle East and have reported this issue many times through the in‑app reporting system, clearly identifying the server and the user involved. Because nothing happened, I also contacted Discord’s support / Trust & Safety directly, providing a detailed explanation of the situation together with all necessary information, evidence, and links so that Discord could act. The only reply I received was an automated message telling me to report through the app, even though I had already explained that we had done so multiple times without any results. When I protested and clarified that the issue remained unresolved, my ticket was nonetheless marked as solved, despite no action being taken. I have retained proof of both the reports and the responses. Given the nature of CSAM and Discord’s stated policies and obligations, I find this response unacceptable and extremely worrying for user safety. I request that Discord urgently investigate this server (ID: 916377276881457172) and the offending account (ID: 1521963510643425341), suspend both the account and the server involved, and review why repeated CSAM reports were effectively ignored. I also expect Discord to improve its reporting and moderation processes so that similar situations are handled quickly and effectively, ensuring a safer environment for users on the platform.
