Dating.com Unauthorized Annual Membership Charge

I did not authorize Dating.com to charge my credit card for an annual membership fee. I only bought a one-year subscription, and I made sure the automatic renewal option was disabled. I'm struggling to comprehend the rationale behind charging an annual membership fee. I no longer want to continue using their services due to my dissatisfaction. Moreover, I haven't been using my account regularly lately. I am requesting a refund immediately. Even after contacting customer service, my money has not been refunded yet. Other users have also expressed similar concerns, not just me.
