Dating.com Charged $41 but Provides Almost No Messaging

September 4, 2025 6:08 PM19

On 09/04/2025 at around 11:00, I signed up for the dating.com website and paid $41 using my debit card. After completing the membership purchase, the site gave me only a few messaging credits, and then required additional payments of $19, $49, and even higher amounts to continue communicating. I began doubting whether the people I was messaging were real users, because the system continuously demanded payment and it became nearly impossible to have a genuine conversation. I also did not receive any clear information about my membership package or messaging rights.

I attempted to reach customer service but received no response. At the moment, there is a $41 hold on my bank account, and I have neither been able to use the service nor receive my money back.

As a solution, I request either one month of unlimited messaging access or a full refund of the amount charged to my card. I also believe that other users should be cautious about this situation.
