2024 Cupra Leon Spontaneous Taillight Cracking Blamed on User Error

I would like to share the hardship I am experiencing due to spontaneous cracks forming in the taillights and rear brake lights of my 2024 Cupra Leon. This vehicle is my second car, mostly kept in a closed garage, rarely driven, and has never been subjected to any impact. There is not even the slightest scratch or damage.

On June 27, while washing the car, I noticed water inside the taillights. Looking closely, I saw similar small cracks across three independent rear components. These cracks began to spread over time. On June 29, I took the vehicle to the service center, but because they had no loaner vehicle available, they did not accept my car and told me they could only give me an appointment with a loaner vehicle for August 29.

As the cracks continued to expand, I left my vehicle at the Attarlar Oto A.Ş. service center in Konya on July 22. Today, on July 28, the service called to inform me that the condition was deemed user error, claiming the taillights had been subjected to an impact. However, despite the scattered cracks appearing across three independent parts, there are no impact marks, scratches, or damage anywhere on the vehicle. My car has not been involved in any accident or impact.

Considering that the vehicle is new, my usage pattern, and the total absence of visible impact marks, I do not accept the issue being categorized as user error. I believe these cracks in the brake lights and taillights stem from a manufacturing or material defect.

I demand that all brake lights and taillights that I believe to be defective be replaced free of charge under warranty, and that the inconvenience I have experienced throughout this process be resolved.
