Costa Coffee Ruined Their Iced Lattes By Switching to Pre-Made Coffee Concentrate

After learning Costa Coffee altered their Iced Lattes' recipe, I'm really letdown with them. Once a rich, smooth coffee experience, it seems watered down and devoid of the strong coffee flavour it was known for. Enquiring the barista, I discovered they had changed from freshly prepared espresso shots to a pre-made coffee concentrate. The distinction is clear and not in a positive sense. The lack of a clear statement on this modification frustrates me since average consumers like me were taken by surprise. Given Costa's premium costs, I expect consistency and quality rather than short cuts compromising taste. This seems to be a cheap action that undervalues devoted consumers.
