Many customers say that foundations like Beyond Perfecting and Even Better discolor a little or lean too pink or too yellow after they're applied. This means that what looks like a good match in the store may not be the same after a few hours.
While Fenty and Estée Lauder put a lot of effort into figuring out a wide range of undertones, Clinique only does so for a smaller group of undertones. This can leave gaps for people with neutral or olive skin tones.
It's harder for customers around the world to find a perfect match because of this tighter calibration, especially if their skin tone isn't typical for North America or Europe.
