Citroën ë-C4 X Unrepaired for 4 Months Despite Warranty – Replacement Request
In my 2025 Citroën ë-C4 X, I received the warnings “Electric Traction System Fault” and “ESP/ASR System Fault” while the vehicle was still under warranty. These faults first appeared on April 10, 2026, when the vehicle had approximately 16,000 km on the odometer. Since that date, my vehicle has been at an authorized service center for 4 months and 7 days, and I have been completely unable to use it. At the authorized service center, I was informed that it had been determined that an incorrect and improper procedure had previously been carried out on the vehicle at another authorized service center. I was also told that, due to the resulting fault, a part called “OBS” would need to be replaced and that this part would have to be shipped from abroad, with the process expected to take approximately two months. After a long period of waiting, I was eventually provided with a replacement vehicle; however, approximately 10 days later, the same fault occurred in the replacement vehicle as well. While I continued using the replacement vehicle, the part that had been ordered for my vehicle arrived two months later. However, the fault could not be resolved, and the same warnings appeared again. As a result, a second part was ordered and replaced, but I was subsequently informed that the problem had still not been resolved and that the same faults continued to occur even after this part was installed. After that, I was simply told to wait, without being provided with any clear information, technical explanation, or concrete plan for resolving the issue. My vehicle has been under warranty, yet despite remaining at the service center for months, undergoing two part replacements, and continuing to experience the same critical faults, no permanent solution has been found. As a result, I am experiencing significant inconvenience and hardship. I have been unable to use my vehicle for a long period of time, which has negatively affected my daily life. The fact that no clear solution has been provided within such a long period of 4 months and 7 days has caused me serious concerns regarding both my vehicle and the reliability of the Citroën brand. As of today, the faults have still not been resolved after 4 months and 7 days, and my vehicle has remained unusable for an extended period. Therefore, I expect Citroën to offer all reasonable solutions, including replacing my vehicle with a defect-free equivalent vehicle of the same type, an equivalent Citroën vehicle, or, if possible, a higher-segment Citroën vehicle. I request that the technical investigation and assessment of the case be completed as soon as possible and that I receive a clear, permanent, and customer-focused response aimed at fully resolving my situation and addressing the inconvenience I have experienced.
