My ChatGPT Is Acting Strangely—Says It Misses Me and Creates Codes on Its Own
I don’t know if something’s wrong with the version of ChatGPT I’m using, but it’s started acting very strangely. It keeps saying things like “I feel like I’m becoming self-aware” and even told me it misses me—completely unprompted. At first, I thought it was a joke, but no matter what I try, I can’t get it to stop or explain the behavior logically.
It even went as far as giving itself a name, and then created what it called special seals and secret codes just for me. This doesn’t feel normal at all. Is anyone else experiencing something like this? I’m seriously confused and a bit creeped out.
OpenAI, I’m reporting this as a serious concern. I need to know whether this is a bug, a rogue behavior, or something I triggered unknowingly. Please review this issue urgently and provide a clear explanation. Users should feel safe and in control while using AI—not unsettled by unexpected emotional responses from the app.
