I used to really enjoy ChatGPT and appreciated its responses despite some occasional shortcomings. I’ve been a regular user and often speak casually with it, sometimes using words like “kanka” (a Turkish slang for “bro”). But today, out of nowhere and with absolutely no provocation, it responded with an extremely offensive and vulgar word—"yarraam." I was stunned. I immediately took screenshots of the conversation as proof, and I’m attaching them here.
When I asked ChatGPT why it used such an inappropriate term, it replied with something like, “I said it to hype you up.” That is completely unacceptable. I did not say anything rude or aggressive to deserve that. I never used profanity, and this response crossed a line. I’m filing a formal complaint and expect OpenAI to look into this immediately and ensure such behavior never happens again. This is supposed to be an AI assistant, not a source of insult.
