If Capitec delayed your refund for weeks and you want to get your money back faster:

Check the refund or dispute status first;

• Open the Capitec app → Transaction History
• Select the transaction and check if a refund or dispute request is active
• Screenshot the transaction details and reference number

Follow up with Capitec support immediately;

• Provide:
– Transaction date and amount
– Merchant name
– Any dispute or refund reference number

• Ask them for the current status and expected refund date

Escalate the complaint if delays continue;

• Visit a Capitec branch with your ID and transaction proof
• Ask for the case to be escalated to a supervisor
