Cambly is Breaking The Agreement

Since 2019, I have been using Cambly with an annual membership that we agreed would be renewed each year at a fixed fee, based on the price I received in 2019, and paid automatically via my credit card. This practice continued in the same way for six years. Our agreement on this fixed annual renewal was clearly established and has been applied consistently until now. However, on 27.11.2025, Cambly informed me that, for renewal, they were demanding a fee approximately 15 times higher than the amount we had originally agreed on for my annual membership. When I stated that we had a fixed-price agreement and that I wanted to continue under the same conditions, they replied that this would no longer be possible and that I had to either renew at the new, much higher price they offered or cancel my membership. After this, I contacted Cambly customer service. On 28.11.2025, I received a response from the Türkiye support desk under the answer number #3681842, but they did not accept my request to continue under the original fixed conditions and insisted on the new price. With this approach, Cambly has unilaterally terminated the agreement we established six years ago, without any negotiation or mutually agreed change in terms, and presented this new, significantly increased fee as a so-called discounted final price. I consider this a breach of the long-standing relationship and the trust built over the years, especially since the essence of our understanding was continuity under the same conditions, with automatic annual renewal via my credit card. For confidentiality reasons, I do not share the contract price, but I emphasize that the fixed annual fee and renewal terms were clearly agreed and implemented for years. I would like to clearly state that I expect my contract to continue under the same fixed conditions as originally agreed and that the excessive renewal price increase demanded from me be withdrawn. I do not wish for a six-year customer relationship to end in this way, and I request that my membership be renewed at the previously agreed fixed annual fee, without applying the 15-fold price increase.

The company insists on its own offer and should solve the problem. It was a bit funny that they called and demanded the fee they wanted unilaterally, expecting understanding from the customer. This behavior did not suit Cambly.
