Budget Charged Me Extra for Insurance Without Consent at Podgorica Airport
On June 20, 2024, I rented a car from Budget at Podgorica Airport through Yolcu 360. When I arrived to pick up the car, they requested a €400 deposit and handed me a tablet to sign, saying it was a normal procedure. The staff member was difficult to communicate with and behaved aggressively, so I signed, trusting it was part of the standard process. Later, I noticed €400 was charged to my credit card.
Upon returning the car, they informed me that €108 was taken for insurance, and the rest would be refunded. I never requested any insurance and when I questioned it, they claimed I had agreed by signing. Since I had a flight to catch, I couldn’t contest it at the time. I would appreciate a response and resolution regarding this unauthorized charge.
