Brainety Charged Me for A Year After A One Time App Use
I used the Brainety app once and paid what I believed was a one-time cost. After that, I didn't think much of it. A year later, I looked at my statements at random and was astonished to learn that they had been taking money out of my account every month without my knowledge. I never consented to any form of recurring subscription, and I never got any emails or other messages that I would be charged. When I asked Brainety for a refund, they flat-out refused, insisting the charges were correct. It really seems like they just want people to not notice. I have to deal with my bank now to fight the charges and get my money back. This whole thing has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I would never use them again.
