Bosch KGN55VIF1N Refrigerator Keeps Getting Dents on the Top Cover





In September 2023, I purchased a Bosch KGN55VIF1N refrigerator from Media Markt at Izmir Hilltown AVM. Just one or two days after delivery, I noticed small, inexplicable dents on the top cover of the cabinet, which became even more visible under light. I contacted technical service, and the technician who inspected it confirmed the product was defective, explaining that the dents were caused by inward pressure from the polyurethane inside. The refrigerator was replaced. However, within about a year, the same issue reappeared in different spots, growing from 1–2 dents to 5–6. At first, I questioned whether I was imagining it, but even my friend who sells white goods confirmed that the product is indeed faulty. I’m exhausted by this ongoing issue—we paid nearly twice the average price for a Bosch, only to be left feeling cheated. I’ve contacted the service again, and unless this problem is permanently resolved with a free replacement, I will escalate this through every available channel. Honestly, I wouldn’t be facing this much trouble if we had just bought a refrigerator for ₺15,000. I expect your urgent response.
