Blissy Pressured And Bossed Me Into Doing Free Video Advertisement

7

I am writing to report my experience with Blissy and in particular with Donna G***, who introduced herself as Director of Customer Success. I was contacted by email with a “do me a favor” style message, offering me a $200 gift card toward Blissy products in return for doing a live video promoting their products, including the silk pillowcase I had already bought for my birthday. Despite having documented eye problems and ongoing blurred vision, which make technical tasks difficult for me, I did my best to meet their request. I recorded not just one, but two videos and sent them to Donna. During this process she repeatedly pressured me by email to hurry and get the video done, even though I had clearly limited technical skills and health issues that slowed me down. After Donna wrote to thank me and said she loved the videos, she then started pressuring me to sign a consent release form so they could use my videos, saying that I needed to sign this to receive the $200 gift card. Signing this consent form was another challenge for me due to my vision problems and the technical process, but I still pushed myself, got help, and finally managed to complete what she asked. Only after I jumped through all of these hoops did she inform me on 08/11/26 that I supposedly do not qualify for this promotion after all. In my view this is a clear bait‑and‑switch: I completed the videos, signed the consent release and cooperated in good faith under significant pressure and personal difficulty, based on the clear promise of a $200 Blissy gift card. After all of that, being told I do not qualify feels dishonest and deeply unfair. I have kept all the relevant emails, including the consent request and the message stating that I do not qualify, to support this complaint. I request that Blissy honor the original offer and immediately provide the $200 gift card that was promised to me for my videos, without any further obstacles or pressure, and that they review the conduct and communication style used in this promotion so that other customers are not put through a similar experience.
