My Beymen Club Palazzo Pants Started Fraying After the First Wear

I purchased a double-pleated palazzo pant during the season from the Beymen Club Panorama store and left it for alterations to have the hem adjusted. Right after the alteration, the very first time I wore the pants, I noticed threads coming loose from the front area. I immediately took the pants back to the store the same day and submitted them for inspection.

The store accepted my request and sent the product for review, but the result came back negative, claiming there was “no issue with the pants.” After receiving this response, I had no choice but to wear the pants a few more times. However, by the fourth wear, threads started pulling out from everywhere, and the pants became completely unwearable.

I then returned the product to the same store once again. Together with a sales associate, we examined the exact same pants that were hanging for sale in the store. Even though that pair had never been worn, we noticed the exact same loose-thread issue that I experienced with my own pants. The store employee carefully documented this situation while sending my pants for another inspection and specifically noted that the same defect also existed on the unworn store display item. Despite this, the inspection result once again came back negative.

Up until now, I have purchased many products from Beymen Club and used all of them without any problems. I have never sent a product for inspection unnecessarily or for personal reasons. Clearly, the issue is not with the other products but specifically with these pants. Moreover, when even the unworn product hanging in the store shows the exact same defect, I find it unacceptable that the inspection results were negative twice in a row, that many customers who buy this product appear to experience the same issue, and that Beymen Club still refuses to stand behind the product.

A product sold at such a high price should not fall apart after being worn only a few times. Although I did not initially keep the receipt, the store informed me that they were able to access the receipt through their system and confirm my purchase history.

Since it is very obvious that I would experience the same issue again if I received the exact same pants as a replacement, I request that these defective pants be exchanged for a different product instead.
