I purchased Asics Gel-Nimbus 2S sneakers for both myself and my spouse, and after wearing mine only 20–30 times for simple walking, the inner lining started tearing apart—and it’s getting worse with every use. I wore them only with proper athletic socks and never used them for intense activity or running.
I paid a significant amount for these shoes, trusting the Asics name and expecting premium quality. Instead, I’m left with a pair that is literally falling apart from the inside. The exterior is fine, but the interior is coming undone, and I can’t understand how that’s even possible with such limited, gentle use.
I’ve attached photos showing the damage, and I’m demanding an immediate explanation and resolution. Why would the inner material of a performance shoe start disintegrating so soon—especially when worn properly?
Asics, please take accountability and offer a solution—whether that’s a refund, a replacement, or at the very least, a clear acknowledgment of the defect. This is not the quality I paid for.
