Asana Rebel - Another Unauthorised Transaction And Upset Customer
I cancelled my Asana Rebel subscription in March 2025 after starting a free trial. After using it for about a week, I cancelled because the product felt below par compared to other fitness apps I have used, with very limited features and very basic instructions, and I then thought nothing more of it. Despite this, an unauthorized payment of $70 was taken from my Mastercard credit card in mid‑March 2026, approximately twelve months after cancellation, even though my account is currently shown as not active. Asana Rebel claims to have sent me an email letting me know a transaction would occur, but as a professional in business, I am 100% confident no such email was ever sent to me, and it is not even in my spam folder. When I contacted Asana Rebel about this unauthorized charge, they refused to help and did not refund the amount. I have since escalated the issue with my bank. I have also seen that similar issues with unauthorized or repeated charges are widely reported online, which increases my concern about how this situation is being handled. I request a full refund of the unauthorized $70 taken from my Mastercard credit card and a clear confirmation that no further charges will ever be made to my card now that my Asana Rebel account is not active. I am also sharing this complaint because I do not want this to happen to anyone else.
Asana Rebel are flatly refusing to assist - and to make it worse the amount was over $200 AUD...I had made a error when typing this complaint. They really are bad.
