Arçelik 270561 EB No Frost Refrigerator Rust and Broken Drawer Issues

On July 12, 2021, we purchased an Arçelik 270561 EB No Frost Refrigerator. On June 4, 2024, we requested service for two issues: a drawer in the freezer broke without any force applied, and the exterior of the refrigerator developed rust within 2.5 years. The service personnel came, took photos, and left. After receiving a negative response, customer service informed us that we could file a replacement request. The service personnel returned to take more photos. Today, the Çerkezköy authorized service informed me that my request was denied. They claimed that the rust was due to the detergent used and advised that the freezer drawer should be handled carefully—a seemingly miraculous recommendation.

We previously used a German brand refrigerator in the same kitchen for over 15 years without any rust issues, but this Arçelik refrigerator started rusting in just 2.5 years. The drawer in the freezer broke despite no force being applied, clearly a product defect. It feels like we are being treated as if we've never used a refrigerator before, being told to be careful with the drawer. How much force can be applied to a drawer, especially when the user is my mother, not a child? In my own home, I have a German brand refrigerator, and despite my son’s rough usage, it has never had any issues.

It’s disappointing to see Arçelik not standing behind their faulty product and instead blaming the customer for simple issues. The quality of your product matches the character of your staff. Opting for a locally produced Arçelik product has taught us a valuable lesson. From now on, we won’t even consider your brand.

Calling just for the sake of talking and repeating the same things does not mean you are taking your customer's problems into account. Arçelik seems unable to help with issues related to plastic parts. Why am I taking responsibility for your low-quality products? While reliable companies take all kinds of responsibility for their products, blaming the consumer is, of course, the easiest way out. The poor customer satisfaction understanding of a low-quality company. Arçelik is regret.

Arcelik 'Renovated' 283720 eb Refrigerator Cooling and Parts Problems

"It is true that contact was made in a short time, we thank the company for that, but the result is disappointing. According to the evaluation results, the freezer compartment of our refrigerator is normal. I am sharing with you the final state of the bottle with ice inside as an attachment. Without conducting a valid result analysis, my refrigerator complaint was closed with the statement that your device is fine. In the end, this 2-year-old device is not freezing. Sometimes it freezes and then thaws afterwards, and it operates for a long time without freezing again. If a test is to be conducted, we request that it be done with valid evidence to find a solution. Arçelik's solution result is a fiasco."

Arçelik Sold Me a Faulty 2172 JEB Freezer and Refuses to Replace It

"The product exchange was carried out on February 28, 2025. I especially thank the representatives from Arçelik Customer Service who contacted me for the exchange. However, the authorized service, which detected the malfunction of a product that is less than 6 months old (2 months old) and used for storing food like a deep freezer in approximately 2 weeks (I received a response every day saying your repair is ongoing), needs to be warned for taking such a long time to conclude the process."
