TikTok App Resulted in Unauthorized Purchases Made by Disabled Children
My disabled children have made multiple unauthorized purchases on the TikTok application, which has caused me significant difficulty. I was unaware of these charges until I discovered a four thousand Turkish Lira charge on my Apple Store account. I immediately informed the support team that my children have Down syndrome and that these purchases were made without my consent. However, my refund request was denied. As my children are incapable of comprehending the repercussions of their actions, this situation has caused me a great deal of distress. While I acknowledge that I am partially responsible for the purchases, the lack of security measures in the TikTok app has led to this unfortunate occurrence. I request that TikTok take responsibility for this matter and issue me a refund for my children's unauthorized purchases. It is unforgivable for a publisher to permit such a circumstance, which causes such distress among its users. I implore TikTok to take measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
