AirPods 2nd Generation Failed One Week After Warranty Expired

I purchased my 2nd-generation AirPods in 2021, and just one week after the warranty expired, they suddenly stopped working even though there was no user-related damage or misuse. The earbuds suddenly started disconnecting, and they now fail to connect to any device at all.

After experiencing this problem, I contacted the Apple Store. Since the warranty had expired, I was offered only a paid repair option. I was told that the repair cost would be very high and that it would make more sense to purchase a new pair instead. I am extremely disappointed that a product that was working properly while it was under warranty suddenly failed immediately after the warranty expired, with no meaningful support offered afterward.

Because the earbuds failed just one week after the warranty expired, I believe this is a product-related defect rather than an issue caused by the user. I therefore request that my 2nd-generation AirPods be repaired free of charge and that my case be reviewed again with customer satisfaction taken into consideration.
