Alo Yoga Refuses Size Exchange for Unused Products
On June 20, 2026, three items were purchased from the Alo Yoga store located at Zorlu AVM in Istanbul, and the products were delivered to me on June 21, 2026. When I tried the items on, I found that the sizes were not suitable for me. I contacted the store on June 22, 2026, and explained that I am currently in another city and therefore cannot visit the store in person. I informed them that I wanted to exchange the items for different sizes and that I was willing to cover the shipping costs myself.
During my communications with the store, I was told that returns were not possible and that I had to physically visit the store in order to make a return. I was also told that the hat, which has never been used and still has its original tag attached, would absolutely not be accepted for an exchange. When I spoke with the store by phone yesterday, I was initially told that they would assist me. However, in subsequent written communications, they offered solutions that I believe were not consistent with applicable consumer rights, and they eventually stopped responding to my messages. Today, I called the store 18 times, but none of my calls were answered and I received no response whatsoever.
For the three items I purchased recently, all of which remain unused, I first request that all three items be exchanged for the appropriate sizes. If this is not possible, I request that all three products, including the completely unused and tagged hat, be accepted for return and that the full amount of approximately $322 that I paid be refunded to me. I also request a clear response regarding this matter through either telephone or written communication.
