Allianz Refused To Refund My Individual Pension Savings
I enrolled in an individual pension plan through Allianz, but after realizing that the system was not providing a meaningful financial benefit, I decided to leave the program approximately 1.5 years later, in November 2025.
After completing the early withdrawal process, I did not receive a refund for my own contributions totaling approximately $240. When I contacted customer service, I was told that the deductions and service fees were too high and that, for this reason, they could not issue any refund.
I absolutely do not accept the fact that the money I personally paid into the system has effectively been consumed through excessive deductions and fees. Under normal circumstances, I understand that government contribution incentives may be reduced or canceled during early withdrawal, but in this case, the major deductions appear to have been taken directly from my own principal payments, which I find unfair and unreasonable.
In addition, when I later requested to reverse the cancellation and continue participating in the pension plan, I was informed that this was also not possible. As a result, I am unable to recover my money, and I am also unable to restore my participation in the system.
I request that my deducted savings of approximately $240 be refunded to me and that Allianz provide a clear, transparent, and understandable explanation regarding all deductions and fees applied to my account during the cancellation process.
