Akbank Has Received an Unfair Fee
I use an Axess credit card belonging to Akbank. On February 28, 2025, I saw that an amount of ₺1,149.50 "membership fee" that I was not aware of was reflected on my credit card. As a result of intensive efforts, I canceled my credit card on March 5, 2025. When I spoke to customer service, I was informed that this membership fee was taken in advance. The screenshot of the conversation is also attached. I asked for the amount of this membership fee that they took in advance to be calculated for the unused period and returned to me. However, customer service gave me a copy/paste rejection response that was very obvious, equating my complaint with other card membership fee complaints. I am continuing my fight with the TBB Arbitration Board. I will continue my fight against this system that Akbank is trying to take illegally and does not provide the cancellation of unused days. I wrote this complaint so that customers who will prefer Akbank all over the world can be informed.
