I Rented Airbnb’s 'Farmhouse in the Nature' but Found It in Ruins and Got No Help

I rented the “Farmhouse in the Nature” in Orhanlı Village, Seferihisar via Airbnb for 10 days between July 21–31, 2025, expecting a peaceful summer getaway. Instead, I walked into a complete mess. The condition of the house was unacceptable and nowhere near what was promised in the listing.
The furniture was falling apart — the sofa arm was missing and stained.
The TV was an outdated tube model, nothing like what’s expected today.
The air conditioners were literally taped in place, barely functional.
The wooden floor was swollen, and the stairs wobbled dangerously.
Even the gazebo in the garden was destroyed — unusable and broken.
We immediately reached out to the host, Mr. S*, but received no reply at all. When we tried to report the issue through Airbnb and uploaded all the photo evidence, they simply responded saying they “could not reach the host” and closed the issue. No refund. No support. No accountability.
This was a trip we had saved for all year, and our entire vacation was ruined. Airbnb completely failed to protect us as guests, and the host’s negligence made things worse. I demand a full refund and urge Airbnb to delist this property and hold the host accountable. No one else should fall into this trap.
