I Face Double Booking Issue at Airbnb Mona Apart and Seek Apology

On August 7, 2025, I booked a stay through Airbnb (Reservation No: HMJ82QYR9H) at Mona Apart Küme Evleri in Ula, Muğla. When my companions and I arrived to check in, we were shocked to find other guests already staying in the property. This double booking caused serious inconvenience and stress, as we had no alternative accommodation prepared.

I immediately reported the situation to both Mona Apart and Airbnb. While my payment was refunded two days later, the disruption to our travel plans and the stress we experienced were significant. We had to scramble to make last-minute arrangements, which completely ruined the start of our trip.

Although the refund addressed the financial aspect, it did not acknowledge the emotional and logistical hardship caused by this negligence. I expect a formal apology from Airbnb and Mona Apart for failing to honor my confirmed reservation and for the distress this incident caused. This kind of oversight should never happen to paying customers, and I urge the company to take measures to prevent similar booking conflicts in the future.
