Airbnb Overcharged Me for My Stay — How to Get a Refund
In my last two Airbnb reservations in Istanbul, I was overcharged. For the booking I made on October 8, 2025, I was charged $4 more than the stated amount, and for the booking on November 5, 2025, I was charged an additional $6. The invoice totals provided by Airbnb do not match the amounts withdrawn from my bank account.
I made both payments using my bank card, and the receipts clearly show the overcharged amounts.
I reported this issue to Airbnb live support, but they told me that no overcharge appears in their system. However, my bank statements clearly show the discrepancies. This issue has occurred in two separate reservations in a row.
I request that the excess amounts be refunded to my account and that Airbnb investigate why such billing inconsistencies are happening.
