Airbnb Moonsa Boutique Villas Host Was Abusive and Tried to Scam Us
We booked Moonsa Boutique Villas through Airbnb, expecting a quality stay, but it turned into a nightmare. The house was dirty, with wet, dirty towels stuffed in the cabinets and kitchen trash left unemptied. The pool wasn’t heated, and the lights didn’t work, despite us repeatedly reporting the issue. The host kept promising to fix it but never showed up.
This host was extremely rude and unprofessional. After we booked, they suddenly increased the price. Then, despite the 11:00 AM checkout time, they called at 11:01 AM to insult us, and 18 minutes later, arrived with the police to force us out. In front of the officers, they told us to leave everything behind and just go, then aggressively approached us as we were leaving.
After forcing us to leave without allowing us to clean up, the host later falsely accused us of leaving the house messy and demanded a damage fee with misleading video evidence.
The worst part was the verbal abuse and psychological harassment we endured. We trusted Airbnb to provide a safe and reliable stay, but this experience was horrifying. If Airbnb continues to work with such dishonest and aggressive hosts, its reputation will suffer greatly.
I expect Airbnb to take immediate action against this host and provide a resolution!
