Agoda Didn’t Refund Money After the Hotel Canceled Booking

On Thursday, October 23, I made a reservation through Agoda to stay at Yeşil Periy Hotel under booking number 1662073670 and paid ₺2400 by credit card. After the reservation, I called the hotel and was told that there was an issue with their facilities and that I needed to cancel my booking. However, when I completed the cancellation, I did not receive any refund. The hotel stated that, according to their policy, no refund could be issued, even though the problem was entirely caused by them. I tried to reach Agoda customer service through live chat but only received automated responses and couldn’t speak to a real representative. I have been waiting seven days for a solution, but the issue remains unresolved. Moreover, I noticed in Google reviews and on various platforms that many Agoda users have faced the same problem with Yeşil Periy Hotel, and everyone seems to be complaining about it. I believe this has become a recurring issue. I request that Agoda refund the amount I paid or provide accommodation at another hotel. I kindly ask that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible.
