Adobe Won’t Let Me Cancel Without $73 Early Termination Fee

January 18 5:37 AM13

I recently started an Adobe Photoshop and Creative Cloud subscription. When I tried to cancel through Adobe’s website, the system displayed an early termination fee of approximately $73, which I find completely unreasonable, and it would not allow me to proceed with the cancellation.

I attempted to cancel multiple times through the website and then contacted customer service and live chat. The representative clearly told me that I could not cancel the subscription without paying this termination fee. During the signup process, there was no clear or understandable disclosure about a commitment period, annual plan, or early cancellation fee. I absolutely do not recall knowingly and willingly accepting such terms.

For a subscription that was started only a short time ago, imposing such a high termination fee is extremely unfair, puts consumers in a difficult position, and is unacceptable. I demand that my Photoshop and Creative Cloud subscription be canceled immediately without any termination fee or additional charges, that my hardship be resolved, and that I be provided with a clear written explanation regarding this practice.
