Academia Charged Me Without Subscription or Consent

On March 27, 2026, I noticed that a charge of $94 was made to my credit card under the name “Academia” without my knowledge or consent. The transaction appears on my statement as “Academia” and was carried out entirely without my awareness.

As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted my bank and had my card canceled. I also reached out to Academia via email, requesting that the transaction be canceled and that I be provided with an explanation. However, I have not received any response so far.

I am requesting that this unauthorized $94 charge made by Academia be immediately canceled and fully refunded to me. I also request a written explanation of how and why this transaction was made, as well as the implementation of necessary security measures to prevent this from happening again.
