On December 10, 2025, I purchased a comprehensive auto insurance (casco) policy for my vehicle through Zurich Insurance. On December 27, 2025, I was involved in a minor accident, and on December 29, 2025, I went to the Auto King Trabzon authorized service center to open a damage claim. An insurance adjuster inspected my vehicle, but later my claim was rejected without any notification to me. I only learned that my claim had been denied when I called the service center today to ask about the status of my file.
When I contacted the insurance company afterward, I was told that my policy appeared to be inactive. I then spoke with the intermediary company Sigortam.net, where I was informed that my policy had been canceled, that a $46 deduction had been made from the policy I purchased only about one month earlier, and that the remaining amount had been refunded to me. At no point during this process was I informed about the claim denial, the policy cancellation, or the deduction.
Now, when I try to purchase a new insurance policy, I see that the premiums have increased to nearly double what I paid just one month ago, and this situation has directly caused financial harm due to Zurich Insurance’s arbitrary cancellation decision. My damage was not covered, my policy was terminated without my knowledge, and my new insurance costs have increased significantly as a result.
I request that the damage to my vehicle from the accident be covered and repaired, and that my comprehensive insurance policy be reinstated and continued under the same terms we originally agreed on, without cancellation. I also demand that the harm I suffered due to actions taken without informing me be urgently resolved. My phone number is 0 53*******23**, and I request an urgent return call to this number.
