Yapı Kredi Internet Banking Blocked After Salary Account Opening
On 3 October 2026, I was punished as a Yapı Kredi salary customer. I work at Baylan Su Sayaçları. Our company recently moved its salary payments from Garanti Bank to Yapı Kredi Bank. On the night of 3 October 2026, while I was on the night shift, the bank representatives completed our transition to Yapı Kredi and my salary account was opened. During this process, the customer representative informed me that there was an “internet restriction” on my name. I clearly stated that I had never used Yapı Kredi before, but I was still told that I needed to apply to a branch. Although my account at Yapı Kredi Çiğli AOSB branch was opened and my salary was deposited, I have not been able to access the internet banking at all since that date. To resolve the issue, I went in person to the Foça branch, and an e-mail was sent via the secure customer line, but I have not received any response yet. At the moment, my salary is in my account, but I cannot perform any transactions on it. I cannot allocate or manage my salary, make transfers or payments. Because of this, I am forced to withdraw the entire salary in cash and go from bank to bank to make each of my payments by hand, which causes serious loss of time and difficulty in managing my finances. When I call the customer service line 444 0 444, I am told that I need to obtain a one-time password to carry out transactions, but that the one-time password cannot be issued because of the internet restriction on my name. Due to this contradictory situation, I am unable to reach any solution. I request that this unjust restriction and the resulting grievance be eliminated as soon as possible and that my access to Yapı Kredi internet banking and mobile banking be opened without any further delay so that I can use my salary account normally.
