Wizz Air Failed to Find Jacket Left on Aircraft

I traveled on Wizz Air flight W62488 from Ankara to Budapest on September 25, 2026. After getting off the aircraft, I realized that I had left my jacket on board, and I am certain that the jacket remained somewhere inside the aircraft.

I reported the issue to Wizz Air and filed a lost property report. However, I was informed that “your jacket was not found.” Wizz Air later explained that the aircraft operating flight W62488 flew from Budapest to Tenerife on the same day as flight W62493. They therefore suggested that I contact the Lost & Found department at Tenerife Airport, as my jacket may have been found there.

Since I am certain that I left my jacket on the aircraft, I kindly request that Wizz Air thoroughly investigate whether it may have been found during cleaning or inspection procedures carried out before or after the aircraft's subsequent flights. I also ask that you check whether the jacket may have been found but has not yet been entered into the lost property system or handed over to the relevant department.

I kindly request that all necessary checks be carried out thoroughly to locate my lost property and that I be contacted immediately if my jacket is found. The relevant flight details are Wizz Air flight W62488 from Ankara to Budapest on September 25, 2026, followed by flight W62493 from Budapest to Tenerife operated by the same aircraft.
