Wish and other online retailers often put a temporary authorization hold on your card for the order amount. This is a routine check for card validity and funds. However, the order charge should be processed separately.

Check your bank statement or credit card activity to distinguish the authorization hold from the charge. If not the charge, the authorization hold should disappear within a few days.

Accidental duplicate orders are another possibility. Check your Wish app order history to see if you placed the same order twice. This would explain the apparent overcharge.

Even if you placed two Wish orders simultaneously, each item from different sellers may incur additional fees. Review your order confirmation emails to ensure the charges match the items you bought.

If none of these explanations apply, contact Wish customer service. They can investigate and explain the additional charges.
