€60 Lost in Wise SWIFT Transfer
On April 29, 2024, I transferred 225 Euros to my Wise account via SWIFT from İş Bank. İş Bank charges an 850 TL transaction fee. So far, there have been no concerns. Then Wise notified me that only 215 Euros had arrived and requested an additional 10 Euros to proceed, or offered to cancel the transaction and issue a complete refund. I chose to cancel since I trusted the app I'd been using for years. The following day, only 165 Euros were deposited into my account, resulting in a loss of 60 euros. Both Wise and İş Bank deny culpability, alleging potential deductions by intermediary firms and failing to produce documents. I couldn't transmit or get the entire amount. I've lost 60 euros.
