On December 15, 2025, around 7:00 PM, I received a video call on WhatsApp from a number with the +237 country code. After researching online, I learned that this country code belongs to Cameroon. However, I have no personal or business relationship with this country. Receiving a video call from an unknown, foreign number in this way made me extremely uncomfortable. I blocked the number on my own.
Because of this incident, I have serious concerns about the security of my WhatsApp account, my phone number, and my personal data. I clearly state that I do not accept any responsibility for any potential misuse, including my account information being compromised, my phone number being used without authorization, my private information, messages, or photos being accessed, or my identity being used to establish companies, make purchases, or incur debts in my name.
