I Face Repeated Account Suspension on WhatsApp with Oppo Reno6
For the past 12 days, my WhatsApp account on my Oppo Reno6 smartphone has been repeatedly suspended without a valid explanation. Almost every day, my account gets shut down. Whenever I email the WhatsApp support team, they reactivate my account, but only temporarily—shortly afterward, it gets suspended again. Despite having two-step verification and other security measures enabled, the issue continues.
This situation has become even more serious because I have been subjected to threats and blackmail from unknown international numbers. Since I work in international trade and import-export, I need to respond to foreign contacts. However, I discovered that some individuals are manipulating my messages with editing tools like Photoshop and then reporting them to WhatsApp, which leads to my account being unfairly suspended again and again. After researching online, I found out that many users have been targeted by this same hacking method, proving it is not an isolated problem.
I believe this highlights a major security vulnerability in WhatsApp. As someone affected, I demand that WhatsApp implement a permanent and effective fix to prevent hackers from exploiting the reporting system. I downloaded the app through the Google Play Store and currently live in Istanbul.
I urgently request that my account be stabilized, my security restored, and this loophole closed so that I and others can use WhatsApp without constant disruption.
