WeChat banned my account for suspicious activity, how can I appeal and restore it?

If WeChat blocked your account for suspicious activity, go to https://help.wechat.com and select "Account Recovery" or "Appeal a Blocked Account."

Log in with your information and complete the steps to file an appeal, including your WeChat ID, associated phone number, and a brief explanation. You may be requested to verify your identity using a puzzle captcha or an SMS code.

If prompted, you will also require assistance from a WeChat user who has been active for more than 6 months to authenticate your account via the "Help Friend Log In" feature.

Make sure the assisting account hasn't recently verified another user, as only one verification is allowed per period.

If the online form does not fix the issue, please contact Tencent Customer Service. For users in mainland China, dial 0755-8376-9000. Global users should utilize the in-app feedback or help center.
