I Face Missing Ticket and No Refund From Viagogo for Göksel Concert in Turkey
On October 25, I purchased a ticket for the Göksel concert through Viagogo (Order No: 627240741). I made the purchase about two weeks before the concert using my bank card, and I paid a significantly higher price than the regular ticket cost.
In the Viagogo system, my order status constantly showed as “ticket being prepared.” Despite waiting until the day of the concert, I never received my ticket. When I arrived at the venue, I was informed that no ticket had been issued under my name and no seat had been reserved for me. The venue staff also mentioned that many other attendees who bought tickets from Viagogo faced the same issue.
After realizing I had been scammed, I tried to contact Viagogo support, but there was no customer service line available in Turkey. I managed to reach a representative named S****, who told me that I would receive a refund, but no refund has been processed yet.
To attend the concert, I had to purchase another ticket at the last minute, which caused additional financial loss and emotional distress.
I demand that Viagogo refund not only the ticket price I paid, but also compensate for my travel expenses and the cost of the second ticket I was forced to buy. Furthermore, I urge Viagogo to establish a proper customer support line in Turkey, stop selling non-existent tickets, and take immediate measures to prevent other consumers from being deceived in the same way.
