VFS Global Bulgaria Visa Appointment System Keeps Crashing
I am the spouse of a Bulgarian citizen and have been trying for days to use VFS Global’s online appointment system to schedule a C-type visa application. Unfortunately, the system continuously crashes, generates errors, and prevents me from completing the appointment process. Over the last five days, I have logged into the system at least 25 times, and on every attempt I have been removed from the platform after encountering errors at different stages of the application process.
There is no issue with the email address I use for the account. I have only one account, I received the activation link from VFS Global, and I successfully activated my profile. Despite this, I initially received messages stating that my email address did not exist in the system. After changing my password, I was finally able to progress further and reach the appointment booking section. However, I have never been able to proceed beyond the second stage of the appointment menu. Each time I attempt to continue, the system generates another error and logs me out. Most recently, after selecting the destination country and attempting to move to the next step, I was once again removed from the system due to the same issue.
The application center I am trying to use is the VFS Global Istanbul Beyoğlu office, and this problem has become a serious inconvenience. Over the past 30 years, I have obtained Bulgarian visas countless times, as well as visas for countries such as Germany and France. I have applied through iDATA and directly through consulates, and I have never encountered a booking system failure of this magnitude. I have also used VFS Global before, but this is the first time I have experienced such severe technical problems.
When I contacted the call center, I was only provided with a technical support email address and advised to send an email for assistance. However, based on numerous complaints from other users experiencing the same issue, it appears that technical support has not been providing effective solutions. Because the appointment system repeatedly fails and prevents me from completing my application, I am unable to submit my visa request and am experiencing significant delays and wasted time.
I request that VFS Global urgently investigate and resolve the technical issues affecting the online appointment system for Bulgarian visa applications at the Istanbul Beyoğlu application center. I also request a clear, permanent solution that will allow me to successfully book an appointment and complete my visa application without further disruption.
