On February 6, 2025, I submitted a Norway skilled worker visa application in the culinary field through VFS Global. I provided all required documents and my passport in full, with no missing items. At the time of my application, the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) listed the expected processing time as 2 months, which was later updated to 3 months on their official website.
However, even though more than 3 months have now passed, I have not received any update—neither approval nor rejection. This silence and lack of communication are extremely frustrating and are now starting to seriously affect my job planning and personal life.
I am asking both VFS Global and the Norwegian Consulate to provide a clear update on the current status of my application. I also urge them to take the necessary steps to ensure my visa process is completed as quickly as possible.
