I’ve been applying for UK visas regularly for years, and I’ve never experienced anything like this—until the system was handed over to VFS Global. Now, I’m trying to book a free UK visa appointment through their website, and there are absolutely no free slots available. It feels intentional, as if free appointments are being deliberately hidden to push people toward paid VIP options costing ₺6,000–₺7,000 or more.
With the previous service provider, I never once had trouble getting an appointment. It was smooth, transparent, and fair. Ever since the switch to VFS, however, I’ve faced nothing but frustration. Even after making a payment through their system, I was not offered any appointment slots. What exactly did I pay for then?
This doesn’t feel like a coincidence—it feels like a business model built around exploiting travelers who just want to renew a visa. As someone who renews a UK visa every year, I find it unacceptable that I’m now being forced to pay several thousand ₺ extra just to access something that should be fairly available to everyone.
VFS Global, you need to restore access to free appointments and explain why this issue has become so widespread since you took over. Stop pushing loyal applicants into premium services through system limitations. We deserve a fair, transparent process—not one that profits off desperation.
